Randy Huebert

Randy Huebert is a native of Henderson, Nebraska and a graduate from UNL.  He along with his wife Joni, have 3 children;  Andi, husband Andrew Sweeney and grandson Jaxson, make there home in Loomis Nebraska; Troy,  a student/ahlete at Hastings College; and Tobey, who is in the 8th grade.

Randy has been coaching for 28 years.  His coaching career began as a freshman coach at Lincoln Southeast High School. From there he has coached in Coleridge, Nebraska; Malvern, Iowa; Great Bend, Kansas; Norfolk, Nebraska;  and for the past 13 years he has been in Aurora, Nebraska.  His career record is 191 and 96.  He has had 18 playoff teams and has 3 state championships. 

He has been involved in FCA in some way for the past 28 years.

Coach Fyfe has been at Grand Island Senior High for 20 years.  During his career he has been the head boys track coach for the past 13 years.  He is also one of the developers of the speed and agility program that has now become part of the Islander Power program that trains over 200 GISH athletes each summer.  Along with coaching track, Coach Fyfe has been an assistant football coach and assistant basketball coach during his career.

 He is presently developing his new role as the Islander Youth Sports Coordinator.  Besides coaching, Coach Fyfe served as the FCA huddle leader at Kearney High and Grand Island for 11 years.  He and his wife Kim have three children:  Ryker, McKenzie and Kytan.

He is a Nebraska native who was a Division I assistant coach for 11 years prior to being selected Chadron State’s new head coach early in the summer of 2006 from among more than 100 applicants.
